The Riversdale Residence is situated on the border of Hawthorn and Camberwell. Trams are available on the doorstep and the train is conveniently located within walking distance or accessible by tram.

A short tram ride into the city allows access to Melbourne University, RMIT, Australian Catholic University, Melbourne Business School and others. Minutes to Swinburne and in close proximity to Holmesglen and Deakin, The Riversdale Residence is central to all your study and lifestyle needs.

My Community

The Riversdale Residence offers accommodation for 32 students. We seek to fill positions with both international and local students offering a great opportunity for intercultural friendships.

Privacy and Comfort

Fitted with quality and substantial furniture and your own ensuite with shower, toilet and basin, your stay at The Riversdale Residence will be more than comfortable. Select from a range of rooms with heating or upgrade to a room with additional air conditioning.

All rooms are bathed in natural light. Each room is fitted out with a generous wardrobe / cupboard, a comfortable desk and chair, and a bed with spring mattress.

Daily cleaning of common facilities such as the kitchen, student lounge and washrooms;
Quality furniture and fittings;
Large lounge and TV room for students to relax and interact;
Commercial style stainless steel kitchen including cooking facilities and fridge storage;
All rooms have individual prepaid electricity meters (E/meters). All other utilities are included in your room rate.
